Carbonum Plate offers excellent protection against chemical attacks and most other physical attacks. It tends to be susceptible to energy type attacks. Carbonum has the ability to absorb a large amount of the notum particles normally found in the air on Rubi-Ka. Because of the nanobot-stablizing effects of raw notum, the armor is also regarded as a nice auxiliary tool for users of nano technology. This armor is quite worn. It offers less protection that newer suits, but it has clearly been enhanced during its lifetime.
